Ask the Expert (Research Focus): Ubitiquin Signalling
Parkinson's Victoria is pleased to present the new online webinar series, Ask The Expert, with a research focus.

Each session will feature a respected leader in their field discussing a topic of interest related to living with Parkinson’s.

Topic: Ubitiquin Signalling
Speaker: Grant Dewson (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research)

Ubiquitin is a small protein found in all human tissues that can bind to and modify other proteins, generating distinct signals. These ubiquitin signals play a significant role in many biological processes and can lead to diseases, including Parkinson’s when deregulated or dysfunctional.

In this session, Assoc. Prof. Grant Dewson PhD, Laboratory Head at The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, will provide an insight into his research on proteins and ubiquitin signalling, and its implications for Parkinson's.
